The official Farm to Fridge nationwide road tour kicks off in Las Vegas! Let’s welcome the Mercy For Animals team to Sin City and help them promote their new documentary, Farm to Fridge.
A special truck equipped with 80 inch video screens will bring the film directly to campuses, shopping centers, sporting events and many other public places in 40 cities around the country. MFA volunteers will also wear shirts with attached iPads playing Farm to Fridge.
Narrated by Oscar-nominee James Cromwell, Farm to Fridge goes behind the closed doors of the nation’s largest industrial poultry, pig, dairy and fish farms, hatcheries, and slaughter plants – revealing the often-unseen journey that animals make from Farm to Fridge. Using footage from undercover investigations the film shows agricultural practices that are industry standard, acceptable, defended by farmers, and deemed legal in most states – yet unknown to most Americans.

- Stop saying that you hate those workers and that you’d like to torture/kill them. It’s pointless, that’s not the solution.Animals don’t need our pity, neither our hate. They need a real change, and complaining isn’t going to change anything.Also, you can’t expect people to treat animals in a better way when you would do the same to human beings.
We need to be realistic and mature. If you want something to change, you are the first one who has to change.
And veganism makes a difference.

- @catchyacunt1 We don not need meat or milk… In fact, milk is unhealthy for humans. I wonder why… oh, perhaps because it’s made for baby cows, not adult humans? - @Karkrash1 I totally agree. I don’t take any pills either. There’s protein in soy and other legumes (even more when you germinate them and eat them that way). And with vitamins there’s no problem, maybe with B12, but nowadays cereals and soy milk are fortified with it, so it’s no problem.randomvegan 6 hours ago
MFA’s undercover investigations have pulled back the curtain on industrial animal agriculture, exposing a culture of cruelty that has horrified millions of Americans. In late 2010, MFA teamed up with Emmy Awardwinning host of The Price is Right and longtime animal advocate Bob Barker, to expose the hidden cost of veal – baby calves chained by their necks in narrow wooden stalls. Just months prior, MFA’s investigation at a dairy farm in Ohio – revealing farm workers stabbing cows with pitchforks and beating them with crowbars – sparked international outrage and inspired countless individuals, including Alec Baldwin, Jamie Lee Curtis and Ashton Kutcher, to publically condemn cruelty to farmed animals. And in 2009, MFA’s exposé at the world’s largest hatchery for egg-laying breed chickens – which exposed live chicks being ground up alive – led millions to view the footage on YouTube and generated thousands of media stories.
